Thanks for the link to the Ediacaran story — I hadn’t seen it. It’s tantalising to imagine what their life was like.

I’ve been to the original Ediacaran fossil site, BTW, and found at least one good specimen myself. That was many years ago now, although not quite Ediacaran.
