Easter
The big event this Easter is that my sister returned from overseas. Beginning before Christmas, she spent several weeks in India followed by several weeks in Papua New Guinea as part of her training to become a medical doctor. I have told her that if she wants to write something about this for a general audience then I am happy to publish it on this blog, and I understand she’s thinking about it.
Anyway, she gave me a Tibettan singing bowl, photographed below. It’s got dragons in the bottom.
I went to an art gallery on Easter Saturday (March 22). It will mean absolutely nothing to you if I say that for the People’s Choice prize, I voted for painting number 344 (and my second favourite was number 457) but nevertheless, it is so. The winners were 5 and 55, by the way.
On March 18, this blog recieved a record number of page views - one hundred and ninety-five! This does not mean that 195 people visited this blog in a single day; it means that one person visited and clicked on over a hundred internal links. But whoever it was didn’t write me a note, so I have no idea.
